"Franklin Mill news" -- Silas Fry, father of Stephen Fry, and George Shumaker and wife, the latter a sister of Stephen Fry, of Armstrong, Ill, came here Friday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Linnie Fry. They left for home Monday.

Esther Malinda Bundy, the foster daughter of Newton and Rhoda Lee, was born in Vermillion County, Ill Nov 17, 1868. At the age of two, her father dying, she was brought here and taken into the home of her foster parents. She was married to Stephen Lee Feb 9, 1898 and died Nov 10, 1898, aged 29 years, 11 months 10 days. A short funeral service was held at the family residence, conducted by Rev. Broomfield Saturday at 2 o'clock p.m., interment at the IOOF Cemetery at Darlington. The funeral proper will be preached at Crawfordsville the first Sunday in December at the Baptist Church o which she was a member. Deceased leaves a loving companion, mother, foster parents and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss -- kind friend cease to weep - For Linnie has passed away - From time's dark night of suffering - to an eternal day! - kbz
