Oren O. Fruits, 67, a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the past four years, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at the home of a son in Camby, Ind. A Montgomery County native, he was born Feb 8, 1900. He was married in 1921 to Inez Patrick Fruits. Prior to moving to Florida he had lived in Indianapolis 48 years. Surviving are three sons, Walter of Clayton, Kenneth of Camby and John of Fort Lauderdale; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Riley of Carmel; two brothers, William of Fort Lauderdale and Byron of Brownsburg; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Bratton; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Conkle funeral Home in Speedway. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery here.
