Mrs. Minnie E. Fruits died at the home of her son, Byron Fruits, 1841 Goodlet Ave last night. She was 62 and had been ill for a month.  Mrs. Fruits was born in Fountain County. She had lived in Indianapolis for eight years. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Conkle Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at the Alamo Christian Church, Alamo, Ind.  Burial will be there. Mrs. Fruits is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roy McCormick and three sons, William Fruits Crawfordsville and Oren Fruits and Byron Fruits, Indianapolis; sisters, Mrs. May Kellar and Mrs. Rose Morrison, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Myrtle Kellar, New Market and Mrs. Katie Fruits, Alamo. - kbz

Mrs. Minnie Fruits, 63, 310 Covington Street died at the home of her son, Byron Fruits in Indianapolis Friday afternoon at 5 o’clock.  The deceased had been in ill health for several weeks and had gone to the home of the son only a few days ago. Born near Alamo, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Krout. She was married to Hadley Fruits whose death occurred 20 years ago. Mrs. Fruits was a member of the Alamo Christian Church.  The survivors include three sons: Byron, Orin and William, all of Indianapolis; Mrs. Roy McCormick of this city; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may view the remains at the Conkle Funeral Home west Washington Street, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at the Alamo Christian Church Monday morning at 11 o’clock.
