Mrs. Mary Jane FRUITS wife of Michael Fruits, Sr. died at her home in Highland Sunday afternoon at 5:30 of dropsy after an illness which lasted two years. Besides her husband she leaves several children. For many years Mrs. Fruits lived near Alamo where her husband ran a saw mill. It will be remembered that in an explosion which wrecked the mill several years ago James Fruits, the oldest son was scalded to death. After leaving the farm near Alamo, Mrs. Fruits resided at Yountsville for several years before she moved here about 3 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Church. The funeral will take place at Yountsville Wednesday morning at 10. Rev EM Riffenhouse pastor of Morningside Chapel will officiate. There will be a short service at noon at the Yountsville Methodist Church after which interment will take place in O'Neall cemetery.
