Georgia A. Fruits, 97, Crawfordsville, died 6:15 p.m. Monday in the Lane House, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Fruits was a meat cutter. She attended Waynetown HS and was a member of First Christian Church, Crawfordsville.
She was born Feb 6, 1907, at Waynetown to Edgar and Halsie Faunce Switzer. She married Dale Powers in 1932. He died in 1974. She married Harry Fruits in 1975. He died in 1994

Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia (Michael A.) West, Leadwood, Kan; one stepdaughter Kay (Jim) Holman, twp stepsons, Harry (Barbara) Fruits and Joe (Eta Ruth) Fruits; two grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Friday in Burkhart Funeral Home, 300 S. Grant Ave with Rev. Raymond Williams officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. - kbz
