Theodore FRIEND, 74, well known farmer living near New Market, died on Tuesday afternoon. He was born in Estelle County, KY son of Manford and Ann Friend. He married Fannie Walker MYERS November 27, 1890. She survives with four sons: Ellis; Everett; Burford and Arthur; and six daughters; Mrs. Effie COSBY; Mrs. Pauline REEVES; Mrs. Ethel HESTER; Mrs. Nellie SWEARINGEN; Mrs. Eva GENTRY and Miss Opal FRIEND. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the New Market Christian Church conducted by Rev. Luke BOLIN assisted by Rev. JC NELSON. The burial was at Ladoga Cemetery.
