Mrs. Freda M. French, 57, of Hillsboro Route 1, died Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 1977 at her home. She had been ill two yrs. Born Aug. 6, 1919, near Covington, she was the daughter of Fred and Hester Allen Woodrow. She was married on Feb. 14, 1939, at Covington to Hubert M. French, who survives. A life resident of Fountain County, she was a graduate of Kingman High. She was a member of the New Liberty Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Marsha) Rose and Mrs. Jerry (Diana) Townsend, both of Hillsboro; a son, Roger W. of Attica; her parents of Covington; two brothers, Freeman Woodrow of Covington and Forrest Woodrow of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Una) Daniel of Veedersburg Route 2 and Mrs. Frank (Frances) Allen of Williamsport and a grandson. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Services will be at 2 p. m. EST Friday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. --waw
