Mrs. Nettie Bell Freeman, 93, mother of Rider Freeman, Crawfordsville businessman, died Monday night at Sheridan, Wyo., where she had made her home in recent years. Born June 14, 1866, at Lower Salem, near Marietta, Ohio, Mrs. Freeman was the daughter of John C. and Adeline True Stewart. She married Henry A. Freeman at Wesley March 4, 1884. Mr. Freeman, who was associated with the Crabbs Reynolds Taylor Grain Co., many years, died in 1931. Mrs. Freeman was a resident of Montgomery County most of her life. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church and a former member of Dorothy Q Chapter of the DAR. Surviving, besides the son in this city, are three other sons, J. D. Freeman of Denver, Colo., Russell Freeman of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Omer Freeman of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee of Sheridan, Wyo., and Mrs. Vinabel Fromhart of Denver, Colo., seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The body will be brought to the Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Arrangements for the services will be announced later.
