Crawfordsville – Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Hunt & Son Funeral Home for F. Rider Freeman, 70, president of the Crawfordsville Seed Co. Mr. Freeman, former president of the Crawfordsville Chamber of Commerce died yesterday after an illness of several months. A 1913 graduate of Wabash College and for several years a member of Wabash College Foundation, he also was former president of the Field Seed Institute of North America and a former director of the First National Bank & Trust Co (also Crawfordsville School Board – kz). Mr. Freeman served in France in WWI and was a member of the American Legion. He also was a member of First Methodist Church. Survivors include the widow, Ruth Freeman; two sons, Dr. William Freeman, Beloit, Wis and Richard Freeman, Kenilworth, Ill; two brothers, two sisters and eight grandchildren. - s
