Mrs. Ann Eliza Freeman, whose maiden name was Thomas, widow of Hardin Freeman, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Harriet Truitt, near Colfax. Indiana, Feb. 3, 1890. Her funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. R. Johnson in Wesley Chapel, February 5th, and the body was interred in the Wesley cemetery. Mrs. Freeman was born in Maryland, Feb. 13, 1809, was nearly 81 years old when she died. She united with the church when about 17 and has therefore been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for about 65 years. - thanks to Kim H

The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Freeman, who for some time has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Harriet Truitt, near Colfax, took place on Wednesday last. The remains were brought here on Tuesday morning and the funeral services on the following day, conducted by Rev. E. R. Johnson. The deceased was about 81 years old and had been a member of the M. E. Church for about 65 years.
