John E. FREED, 84, a former resident of Green Twp, Parke County died Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had lived in Lafayette since 1942. Surviving are two sons, Robert Freed of Berkley, California and John E. Freed, Jr. of Monrovia, California; a daughter, Miss Myra Ruth Freed and a sister, Mrs. Anna Dingman of Whittier, California. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Rogers-Myers Funeral Home, Lafayette followed by burial at Maple Ridge Cemetery near Waveland. kbz
