James Frazee, 35, Darlington died Saturday (27) in St. Vincent Hospital two hours after his van veered off a Boone County road and hit a tree. Eight other weekend traffic deaths were reported earlier.

James Frazee, 36 of Darlington died Saturday in Indianapolis’ St. Vincent’s Hospital about two hours after his van crashed into a tree along a Boone County road. Investigators said they believed Frazee fell asleep at the wheel of his vehicle while westbound on Ind 47, about six miles east of Thorntown.

Thorntown – A Darlington man died of injuries suffered in a one-car accident early Saturday morning. James F. Frazee, 36, 506 S. Franklin St, Darlington died of massive contusions at 5:40 a.m. in St. Vincent’s Hospital at Indianapolis according to state police. The accident happened at 1:55 a.m. six miles east of Thorntown on Ind. 47. State police said Frazee apparently fell asleep while driving, ran off the road and struck a large tree.
