Nov 29, 1978 Ladoga - George F. Frantz, 84, of Ladoga died Wednesday afternoon in Hendricks County Hospital in Danville. Mr. Frantz was a retired farmer and a member of Ladoga Christian Church, where he had served as a deacon 36 years and was a church trustee 32 years. He had been vice president and director of the former Ladoga State Bank for 26 years. Mr. Frantz was a member of Order of the Eastern Star 22 of Ladoga and World War I Barracks 1164 and was a 50 year member of Ladoga Masonic Lodge. He was born Oct. 13, 1894, a son of William M. and Valletta Corn Frantz. He had attended Clark Township and Ladoga schools. On Nov. 24, 1920, he was married at Crawfordsville to the former Jennie Brookshire, who survives. Also surviving are several cousins. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Perkins Funeral Home at Ladoga with burial in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
