Mrs. Katherine (sic) FRANCIS, aged 82 died at the Poor Farm Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock after a long illness. She formerly lived in Darlington and was well known here. Her body was taken to the home of her son Virgil Francis and the funeral was held from his home this morning. She is survived by the two sons, Virgil of near Darlington and Rev. Joe Francis of Ohio, two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Bannister of Tenn and Mrs. Martha Peak of Nebraska and two brothers, Abe Martz living in the west and John Martz of Ladoga. - kbz
