Francis - Anna Young

Anna Young was born May 28, 1809, and died Aug.25,1890. She was married to Ebenezer Grubb Aug. 21, 1828, who died July 24, 1844, To them were born five children, namely: John, who died May 17, 1880 Joseph, who survives Elizabeth, who died July 7, 1875 Samuel, who died Feb. 10, 1863: and Susanna, who died April 21, 1839. She was afterwards married to Isaiah Francis, March 3, 1847, who died Oct. 8, 1877. To them was born one son, Benjamin, who also survives. She united with the M. E. church about 1840 and was a member of this church until 1865, when she transferred her membership to the Christian church. She lived a member of this church until her death. Rev. Stafford conducted the funeral services Wednesday at 2:30 from the residence of Joseph Grubb. Interment at Masonic cemetery. - Kim H
