WAYNETOWN – Mrs. Muriel Fulwider, 76 of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday in her home a mile north of Elmdale. She had lived in that community all her life. She was a member of the Wingate United Church of Christ and the Ladies Guild of the church. Other memberships included Waynetown OES Chapter 435, Waynetown Rebekah Lodge, Wingate American Legion Auxiliary and Center Help Society. She was a past worthy matron of Wingate OES Chapter 633. Born Feb. 16, 1897 in in the house where she died, she was a daughter of Henry and Lewella Watts Dazey. She was married to Robert O. Fulwider on July 14, 1917. He survives. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray B. Fulwider of Boca Raton, Fla.; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Harold Fulwider of Waynetown and Mrs. Carl Fulwider of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Leland and Tom of California and Don of Waynetown; nine sisters, Mrs. Pearl Humphreys of Hillsboro, Mrs. Vergie Evans of Washington; Mrs. Geneva Swaggart of Oregon, Mrs. Helen Broadwick of Kansas, Mrs. Dorothy Stephens and Mrs. Frances Seybold of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Violet Smith of Wingate, Mrs. Nadine Staggs of Rockville and Mrs. Doris Kelley of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harold and Carl, and three brothers, Fred, John and Harold Dazey. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale. Friends may call at the funeral home. Graveside rites will be conducted by Waynetown OES. – jlr

ELMDALE – Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Muriel Fulwider, 76, of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, are incomplete at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. Mrs. Fulwider died unexpectedly Wednesday evening in her home a mile north of here. – jlr
