William S. Fry, one of our oldest citizens and a prominent merchant of our city, died on Thurs. morning last of a long and painful illness. The deceased leaves troupes of friends who mourn his demise and who will always keep in remembrance his genial disposition and noble qualities of heart and soul. The funeral services will take place today from the family residence at 10 o'clock this morning. - kbz

The funeral of the late Wm. S. Fry, which took place at 10 o'clock today was largely attended by our citizens and the Masonic fraternity. The funeral cortege was headed by Schweitzer's silver band who played the dead march in Saul. - kbz
