Fruits - Susan Lewis

Waynetown, April 18 -- Mrs. Susan Lenora Fruits passed
away this morning at her home near Alamo after two weeks illness with
smallpox and bronchial hemorrhage. She was born on March 17, 1856 near
Peru, Ind and was united in marriage 64 year ago to Noah Fruits. Mrs.
Fruits had spent all of her life in Indiana and all her married life
near Alamo. She was a member of the Ridge Farm United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband, four sons, Merit J. and Delmar K. Fruits
of Waynetown Fred Fruits of Alamo and Charles Fruits of New Richmond
and 11 grandchildren. If the weather permits, short funeral services
will be held Friday at 2 o'clock from the veranda at home. No one will
be allowed to enter the house. Those who wish to pay their respects and
view the body may do so by calling at the home as the body will lie in
state near the window on the day of the funeral until time for the
services. Rev. John Servies will be in charge of the services with
interment at Waynetown Cemetery. -- kbz
