Mrs. Melvina Melissa Fritts, 76 died at her home east of Mt. Moriah Church on Saturday afternoon from complications following a hip fracture about three months ago. She was the daughter of Daniel and Sarepta Cox. She married Franklin Fritts, now dead in 1881. One son, Elmer Lee Fritts, survives, with four grandchildren and 3 greats. Funeral services were on Monday afternoon at Parkeville Christian Church. The casket was carried by Fred, Grant and Ronald Cox, Leon Harvey, Frank and Morris Fritts. The flowers were carried by Billie and Irene Cox, Guldah Alexander, Grace and Myrl Colman and Marie Way. -- typed by kbz
