Mrs. John E. FREED of Green Township who has been an invalid for several months, died at 12:30 on Monday morning. Funeral services on Wed. morning from the Machledt Funeral Home were in charge of Rev. Cecil Griggs. She was the daughter of Ethan Allen and Eliza BARTON and was born near Napiersville July 16, 1880. She married Mr. Freed in Remington June 14, 1904. He survives with 3 children: Robert; John and Ruth. Rev. Theodore J. Freed of Rockville at one time pastor of the Waveland Christian Church is a brother of Mr. Freed. Burial at Maple Ridge. - typed by kbz
