Ladoga, March 11 – George Marion FOXWORTHY, well known resident of this place died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ora MANUS in Indianapolis Friday morning at 7:55. Death was due to a stroke of paralysis which occurred Monday. Previous to that time he had been ill several weeks with the flu. He was born in Missouri on April 23, 1866 and was married to Sarah Viola Wright in 1887. She passed away 25 years ago to the day, March 11, 1907. He was a member of the ME Church and IOOF. Surviving are 3 daughters, Rhoda and Mary of Ladoga and Mrs. Manus; 3 sons, John, Delbert and Charles of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Shepherd of Eaton, Colorado; 3 brothers, David of Indianapolis; Joseph of Lebanon and john of Cedar Grove, MO; 4 grandchildren. One son is deceased. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 at the Ladoga Methodist Church and will be in charge of Rev. David McNally, pastor of the Ladoga Christian Church. Interment will take place in Harshbarger cemetery north of town.
