NEW RICHMOND – Mae Fowler, 79, died at 8:06 p.m. Sunday in Home Hospital at Lafayette. She bad been ill since February. She was a member of Bowers Church of Brethern. Mrs. Fowler was educated in Linden and Bowers schools. Born March 26, 1901, at Linden, she was a daughter of Riley and Anna Fletcher Vail. She was married in 1918 to Isaac Fowler, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Kelsey (Edith) Thomas of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Clara Bair and Mrs. Elizabeth Kunkel of New Richmond; an aunt, Mrs. Helen Luse of Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Helms and Hahn Funeral Home at Linden with the Rev. John Siner and the Rev. Barry Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. today. – jlr
