LYLE CLINE FOUST

Lyle Cline Foust was born August 6th, l896, in Darlington, Indiana, the son of H. H. and Ella Cline Foust, both preceding him in death several years ago. He attended school in Franklin Township and was graduated from the eighth grade from the Highview school. He graduated from the Crawfordsville high school. He later attended Wabash College and graduated with the class of 1921. He was a member of the Christian Church of Darlington. He enlisted for service during the World War and was stationed at Camp Knox in Kentucky. He was a member of the Buckley Post of the American Legion, the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, the Masonic Order of Darlington, and of the Eastern Star of Buckley. He was also vice president of the Advisory Board of Education of Illinois. For the past nine years he had I been teaching in the high school at Buckley, Illinois and had won a host of friends. On February 21st, 1930, he passed to the Great Beyond at the Bernham hospital in Champaign, Illinois, at the age of 33 years, 6 months and 15 days, leaving a host of friends in both Indiana and Illinois. He will be lain by the side of his parents for his final sleep. - kbz
