DIED - FOUST – April 29, 1871, Mrs. Elizabeth Foust, wife of WM. H. Foust, aged 38 years 1 month, 18 days. The deceased within a few hours of her death was, to al appearances, in her usual health. Her demise was sudden and unexpected, and fell with a crushing blow upon her husband and children who little dreamed when they saw her but a few hours before, that they were thus suddenly to be bereft of the light and soul of the household. The deceased was a lady of many rare accomplishments. A kind, dutiful and affectionate wife and mother, she has left only a vacant shadow upon the fireside of the family, the sorrow and grief of which time only can obliterate.  -- kbz
