Mrs. Robert Glover was summoned to Cincinnati Saturday by the news of the serious illness of her father Col. Frank A. Foster, which was followed by his death on Tuesday. He had been living alone in a flat and was supposed to be out of town until his employees became uneasy and forced an entrance into his rooms. He was then found lying on a part of the bed paralyzed excepting his left arm. It is thought that he was alone in this condition for three days. Everything possible was done to restore him but without avail. Col. Foster was a veteran of the Mexican and Civil Wars and was in his 76th year. Mrs. Glover was his only living child. The picture of the old soldier facing death alone is extremely pathetic. Robert Glover left Wednesday for Cincinnati to attend the funeral. - kbz
