Lawrence Trout Foster, 60, former trustee of Walnut township, died Sunday morning at 2:30 o'clock at his home seven miles east of Crawfordsville of diabetes, after an illness of one and a half years. He was born May 12,1882 in Indianapolic, the son of Frank and Eva Trout Foster. He married Jess Cook, June 10, 1913, at Lagro. Surviving besides teh widow are a son, William, at home; and an uncle, Roy H. Trout of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the resident with Rev. Carl Reppert of Mace, in chare. Cremation will follow. The body will be removed from the funeral home to the residence at 6 o'clcok Monday evening where friends may call. The family requests no flowers.  --kbz

Darlington, June 21 – Lawrence Trout Foster, 60, died Sunday afternoon at his home seven miles east of Crawfordsville after over a year’s illness.  Mr. Foster was born in Indianapolis and married in 1913 to Jessie Cook at Lagrow, Ind. He is survived by the wife and one son, William Foster of Darlington. The body will be at the Beinard-Butler-Russell (sic) funeral home in Darlington, where friends may call until 6 p.m. Services will be held at the residence Tuesday at 10 a.m. Rev. Reppert Mace officiating; cremation will follow at Indianapolis. The family requests that no flowers be sent. - kbz
