This morning at 7 o'clock at her home, seven miles east of the city, occurred the death of Mrs. Eva Trout Foster, after an illness of several months, heart trouble bing the cause of her death. Mrs. Foster has been in declining health for several months and last October was taken to Culver hospital, where an operation was performed. For a time she seemed to improve, but near Christmas time again began to decline, gradually growing worse until the dissolution occurred this morning. Mrs. Eva Foster was the daugher of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hannibal Trout, and the widow of Frank S. Foster. She was born Nov. 5, 1855 and at the time of her death was fifty-five years, two months and fifteen days old. She was a lady of wide acquaintance and was highly respected. She leaves two children. Miss Mary Foster, who is a teacher in the public schools and Lawrence Foster, who conducts the farm. She also leaves three brothers, David, Sherman, and Roy Trout. The funeral services will be conducted at the home at 10 a.m. Friday morning, conducted by Rev. Walter Johnston, paster of Center Presbyterian Church of this city. The burial will take place in the family lot in the K. of P. Cemetery at Mace. Friends from this city desiring to attend the funeral take the Northwestern cars to Trout station.
