- Ladoga - Mrs. Thomas J. Foster, well known Montgomery County woman, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde McClain in Indianapolis Thursday morning at 10 o'clock following an illness of two years. Goitre and complications caused her death. Mrs. Foster was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis five weeks ago from her home six miles west of Ladoga. When it was determined that she was unable to undergo an operation she was removed to the home of her daughter where she died. The deceased was born at St. Paul, Indiana in 1875, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Riddlin. On Aug 28, 1895 she was married to Thomas J. Foster. 15 years of her married life were passed in Ladoga where her husband operated a drug store. Later she and her husband moved to their farm west of town. Mrs. Foster was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church and was on eo fhte sponsors of the Alpha Phi Omega Sorority at Ladoga. She was always active in church and sorority circles. In addition to her husband and her daughter, Mrs. McClain, Mrs. Foster is survived by 3 brothers, Russell Riddlin of Raccon and Charles and Cumberland Riddle of Indianapolis. One son, Lodell died in infancy. The body was to be brought to the home at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon where the funeral services will be conducted on Saturday. The time of the services has not as yet been set but the rites will be in charge of Rev. SG Smith pastor of Parkersburg Christian Church.  --kbz
