At 2 o'clock a.m. Wednesday Mrs. Phoeba A. Forgey passed away at her home at New Market. Her death was caused by paralysis. She was born in Warren County, Ohio 66 years ago but came to this county with her parents while yet a child. There were five children SH Gregg being the only surviving member. She was an active and consistent member of the ME Church for 40 years. She was the mother of 8 living children, six of whom reside in Kansas. Formerly Mrs. Forgey was a resident of Crawfordsville, living in Highland and only recently moved to New Market. The funeral was held at New Market at 10 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Phebe Forgy, wife of the late Samuel P .Forgy, and sister of S.H. Gregg, died at her home, New Market, July 23, at 2 o'clock, in the 66th year of her age. She leaves a family of eight children, all of whom are married. A member of the Methodist church she was a Christian woman and died in full faith of a blessed immortality. The funeral services took place on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at her late residence in New Market, and were conducted by the Rev. H. L. Kindig.
