Frank M. FOLEY of Paris, Illinois who at one time was part owner of the Independent died Thursday of last week at the Paris Hospital where he had been a patient for some time. Mr. Foley, the son of MF and Sarah Talburt Foley was born in Waveland Sept 22, 1865 where his father was a wagon maker for some time. Young Foley moved to Paris where he was employed for over 50 years in the Foley Lumber Co. and later with the TA Foley Lumber Co. where at the time of his death he was a foreman. Mr. Foley was married to Lulu Trogdon in 1906 who survives him with two brothers, Charles A. of Paris and Fred of Ste. Marie, Illinois and a sister, Mrs. Grace Henry of Paris. Mr. Foley never lost interest in the town of his nativity and often visited here. Mrs. Foley sent the following poem which was read at his funeral Saturday. (My Lost Youth by Longfellow). - kbz
