The many friends of Edward Flory, the well known barber, will be pained to learn of his death which occurred yesterday afternoon at Canton, Ohio. His demise was due to lung trouble from which he had been gradually going down for more than a year. He was born 28 years ago at Canton, Ohio and was married at Chicago, three years ago to Anna Drury, a sister of Capt. John Drury, of this city. About two years ago they came to this city and Mr. Flory worked at his trade until the first of December last when failing health compelled him to retire. On Dec 27th he left with his wife and little son for his old home at Canton, hoping to find relief but it was no avail and yesterday he passed peacefully away. During his comparatively short residence here Mr. Flory made many friends by his cheerful disposition and gentlemanly conduct and the tidings of his untimely death occasion the deepest regret. Capt. John Drury and Mrs. Lee Whittaker brother and sister of Mrs. Flory, departed at once for Canton to attend the funeral which will take place there tomorrow.- transcribed by kbz
