BLOOMINGDALE – Mona M. Flock, 86, died at 6:27 a.m. Thursday in the Masonic Home Hospital in Franklin. She had been in failing health for the last few years and hospitalized for two and a half weeks. Mrs. Flock was a member of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church and its Woman’s Society of Christian Service. A daughter of Nelson and Anna Vestal Moore, she was born on Jan. 1, 1881, in Parke County. She was married on Oct. 14, 1934, to William L. Flock who preceded her in death on June 16, 1957. Surviving are seven stepsons, Dee of Russellville, Clifford of Portland, Ore., Carson of North Terre Haute, Walter of Phoenix, Ariz., Ralph of Bloomingdale, Herschel of Anaheim, Calif., and Howard of Louisville, Ky.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Beulah Berry of Anaheim, Mrs. Keith (Pauline) Bowen of Indianapolis and Mrs. Milton (Mildred) Davies of near Bloomingdale; a brother, Clay Moore, of Culver City, Calif.; several grandchildren, cousins and nieces. a sister and stepdaughter preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville with Rev. Wendell Adams officiating. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday. – jlr
