DARLINGTON— Mrs. Zora M. Fletcher, who would have been 76 on Aug. 15, died Sunday morning in Carmen Nursing Home in Crawfordsville after a long illness. She had been a patient there since May. A native of Boone County, she was a daughter of John W. and Marina Kersey Lehman and was born Aug. 15, 1893. She married Walter D. Fletcher in Crawfordsville on Feb. 15, 1916. They farmed south of Kirkpatrick and moved to the Darlington area in 1919. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of Shannondale Presbyterian Church, MCB Club of the Walnut Grove community and a women's club of Thorntown. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Wesley Tribbett of Darlington; a son, Max A. Fletcher of Rt. 2, Ladoga; a brother, Leonard Lehman of Chosolm, Minn.; eight sisters, Mrs. Chester Abney of Mankato, Minn., Mrs. Audrey Massing and Mrs. Dorothy Patterson of Crawfordsville, Mrs. William A. Scheid of Chicago, Mrs. Clarence Patton of Shelbyville, Mrs. Dessie Marty and Mrs. Ward Linn of Bloomington and Mrs. Georgia Grissom of Cincinnati, and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son and daughter in infancy and two brothers. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Alden H. Trickey will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
