Stockwell, July 6 – Elmer E. FLETCHER, 66, residing near Darlington died suddenly today at his home. He was a native of Illinois but had resided near Darlington a number of years. Mr. Fletcher was a member of the united Brethren church and Masonic Lodge of Clarks Hill. He attended Danville Normal. Surviving are the widow; 3 sons, Raymond of Darlington; Winslow at home; Delbert of Thorntown; two daughters, Ruth at home; Mrs. Royden Paddock of Darlington; four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Cooper of Linden; Mrs. Clarence Hinds of near C’ville and Miss Clara and Cecil Fletcher of Champaign, Ill and 3 brothers, Charles or Urbana; Otto and Clarence of Texas. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Thursday morning at the late residence with burial in Illinois.
