Flannigan - Warren - train

Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 21 September 1900

W. J. Flood has received word of the violent death at Peoria, Ill., of Master Warren Flannigan, who lived with him last year and who attended the Crawfordsville schools. Warren was killed on last Friday. He was riding on the tender of an engine and, falling off, was cut to pieces. His fall was not noticed by the trainmen and several other engines passed over the body before it was discovered. He was a bright boy and his many friends here will be pained to learn of his tragic end.
