George Flannigan died at his home near Darlington, on Wednesday evening, of consumption, leaving a wife and two children. He was a brother to Squire Flannigan, of this city, and was an excellent citizen. He was a veteran of the civil war, being a member of Company B, of the 120th Indiana volunteers. George Flannigan, aged about 50 years, died of consumption last Tuesday at his home in Darlington. He served during the war in Company B, of the 120th Indiana regiment, and in the service he lost his health, being an invalid thereafter. He leaves a wife, the two children that were born to them having died. The funeral was conducted by Elder Plunkett, at Young’s Chapel, Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The services were held under the auspices of the G. A. R. - "S"

George Flannigan of this place (Darlington) died last Tuesday evening of consumption. He had been very poorly for the past year. He was buried at Young’s chapel.
