Harry Flaningan, 89, a farmer most of his life, died Monday morning at his home, 200 W. Pike St. Mr. Flaningan had also been employed by Crawfordsville Casket Co. and Oak Hill Cemetery. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. A native of Montgomery County, he was born Oct 26, 1883, a son of Harrison and Nancy Paxton Flaningan. He married Floy Etter in 1917. Surviving are two nieces Mrs. Marie Liter of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Cora Sowders of Bloomington, and a nephew, Norman Conrad of Crawfordsville. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - jlr
