Mrs. Helen Harriet Noble FLANINGAM wife of Cassius Flaningam, died at the home of Mrs. James Flaningam, on Jones Avenue this morning at 8 o'clock following a few days serious illness from scarlet fever. Mrs. Flaningam was very well known in this city and her sudden death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The young woman was taken ill with scarlet fever last week following the birth of a baby daughter at Culver Hospital. She was removed to the home of Mrs. James Flaningam and although doctors worked hard to revive her the condition rapidly becamse worse. Mrs. Flaningam was 25 and was born in Champaign, Ill the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Noble. The parents now reside on Danville Rd having come to this city 8 years ago. Besides the husband and parents are one brother, Merle Emmet Noble of Los Vegas, New Mexico survives. Funeral services will be arranged as soon as the family learns when the brother will arrive in Crawfordsville. Mr. Flaningam, the husband of the dead woman is well known in this city, being associated with the Flaningam hardware Company on Washington Street. The daughter, Harriet Ann, born last week is reported in fine health.- kbz
