Oscar E. FLANIGAM, 75, died at his home 211 E. College St. at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Flanigam was born near Garfield Dec 29, 1873, the son of Harrison and Nancy Paxton Flanigam Oct 16, 1898, he married Bertha Wilson who survives. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Darlington and had been in the farming and auto business many years. Other survivors are two brothers, Harry of Crawfordsville and Newton of Cleveland ; four sisters Mrs. Minnie Conrad of near Darlington; Mrs Mabel Britton of Indianapolis and Mrs. Blanche Liter and Mrs. Ollie VanCleave both of Crawfordsville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home here with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The website management appreciates all the contributions provided for use here. -- kbz
