Orville C. Fitzwater, 76, who had been a resident at the Ben Hur Nursing Home, died Tuesday afternoon. His home was in Lebanon. He was a farmer and trucker. He was born June 19, 1902, in Montgomery County, a son of Tyler and Mary Margaret Bales Fitzwater. He was first married to Stella Eggers then to Mary A. Russell. He is survived by two sons, James of Rt. 4, Lebanon and Richard of Bainbridge; a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Marjorie) Stroup, Danville; a brother, Homer Fitzwater of Terre Haute; and two sisters, Mrs. Leatha LaFollette of Darlington and Mrs. Arzola Graves of New Ross. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at the Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday. – jlr
