Thorntown – Frank W. Fisher, 66,
died in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roy Susong, at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. He had
been in failing health two years and seriously ill a month. Born in Montgomery
County, he was graduated from Darlington HS and attended Purdue University and
taught in Indiana Business College at Muncie for several years. He later was employed
by the Hoosier Veterinarian laboratoes and Thorntown Dairy Products Company for
several years. He was married to Gladys Hampton in 1917 and was a member of the
Methodist Church where he taught Sunday school classes for many years. He also was a licensed lay speaker of the
church. Surviving with the widow and
Mrs. Susong are three other daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Ripstra of Thorntown, Mrs.
Wilma Richey of Waukegan, Ill and Mrs. Norm Padgett of Jolietsville; a brother,
Ralph of Thorntown and a sister, Mrs. Hallie Turnipseed of near Darlington.
