Mrs. Ruth E. Fink, 63 of 1113 W. Market street died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Fink was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and its WSCS and a 25-year member of Athens Cahpter, OES. She was a 1927 graduate of New Market HS. A New Market native, she was born April 12, 1907 a daughter of John J. and Bertha E. Swearingen. She married Glenn Fink on July 27, 1929. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard C (Nancy) Smith of Rt 8; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Scott; a brother, Ed Swearingen of New Market and four grandchildren, Donald, Diana, David and Dawn Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nov 7 1960 and by a brother. Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt 7 Son Funeral Home wtih Rev. Paul Jump and Rev. Keith Carlile officiating. Interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. - kbz
