Isadora Fink was born near Yountsville, Ind., December 25, 1846. Her first husband was Andrew McMaken. After some years passed in Canada, she returned to Chicago, where she lived in widowhood W. Lee of South Haven, Mich. It was not long after making her home there that she was stricken with an incurable disease known as cancer. For fourteen months she suffered, often in torture of body. Every effort was made for her relief, but without avail, and she passed away from earth Thursday, Dec. 28.
She left, besides her husband, Miss Eva McMaken, of Chicago, two sisters and five brothers. The funeral occurred at South Haven, Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Mr. Brower, of that place, conducting the services. Her daughter, a brother, Cyrus E. Fink, with a sister, Mrs. Addie Stout, of Yountsville, were present. Known to a large circle of friends, she was loving and patient and deep sorrow is felt by them all. – thanks to S for this one
