Mrs. Susan Fine, 68, died at 4 pm Monday at Culver Hospital . She was born Jan. 10, 1896 in Independence, Kansas to William H. and Elizabeth Wonderly Atkinson. She married Jess Fine May 27, 1920 at Wesley. Mrs. Fine was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church, Athens Chapter OES, American Legion Auxiliary and was a past Chief of Lillian Temple of Pythian Sisters. She was educated in Kansas and had worked at JC Penney Co. and McCullough's Dress Shope. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Chauncey Fine of Crawfordsville and Leland Fine of Speedway; a brother, Luther Atkinson of Crawfordsville and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Cedars of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. W.S. Taylor of Hugo, Ok. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Powers Funeral Home. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
