Waynetown - Glen E. Fine, 58, vice president of the Carver & Fine Construction Co Inc of Waynetown, died of heart seizure Thursday morning at his home in Waynetown. Born Sept. 6, 1896 in Wayne Township, Mr. Fine, who was a road builder for the Indiana State Highway Department 20 years, was the son of William and Vista Powers Fine. He married Goldie Sayers at Waynetown June 30, 1917. Active in the church and community life of Waynetown many years, Mr. Fine was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and the Waynetown Merchants Association. Surviving are the widow; two sons, William Fine, Indianapolis and Donald Fine, Purdue student; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gooding, Bremen; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Watts, Waynetown; a brother, Harold Fine, Indianapolis and nephew, Robert Fine, Butler University student. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grenard & Servies Funeral Home, Waynetown, followed by burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Guy E. Tremaine will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home.
