Dr. E.M. Fine of Veedersburg who for 30 years has been a well known and successful practitioner in Fountain County and who is the father of Harry M. Fine, the well-known young attorney of this city, died yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at his home after an illness lasting but a few hours. On Saturday morning Dr. Fine was stricken with paralysis and during the day he grew steadily worse and his death came early Sunday morning as noted.The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 8:30 at the home in Veedersburg after which the body will be taken to the Lutheran cemetery at Wallace for interment. Dr. Fine was 59 years of age and was born in Fountain County. He lived there during early life and then went to Rush Medical College in Chicago which he attended until the memorable fire of 1871. After that he went to the Ohio Medical College at Cincinnati, from which he graduated in 1872. In 1873 he was married and moved back to his old home where he has since resided. He leaves besides his wife his son, Harry of this city and a stepson, Byron F. Myers of Fountain County - kbz
