Waynetown, Aug 18 -- Alva L. Fine, 75, died at 5:30 o'clock Saturday night at his home here. He had been in failing health the past 3 years and seriously ill 8 weeks. Death was the result of a heart ailment. Mr. Fine was born July 24, 1871 near Wallace and was the son of Jacob and Catherine Krout Fine. He married Maude Blackford on April 14, 197 (sic) at Hillsboro. The deceased was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Jesse D. Fine of Crawfordsville and J. Raymond Fine of Collison, Ill; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Bell of Earl Park and Mrs. Dorthy Weber of Waynetown; two sisters, Mrs. Cordelia Dodd of Westfield and Mrs. Mary Young of Crawfordsville, a brother, William Fine of Waynetown and 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Waynetown Christian Church with Rev. Harry Davis of Clermont in charge. The body will lie in state one hour preceding the services. Friends may call at the family residence. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. - kbz
