Ferrell - Alice

The grim reaper has again visited our midst and with his sickle taken one of the flowers of earth. Little Alice Ferrell was born April 26, 1898, and saw the last of earth Jan. 31, 1901, aged 2 years, 9 months and 6 days. As the father, mother, brothers and sister gathered around the little dying form, it seemed almost cruel that the Father should call one so young and innocent. Yet we can be comforted by knowing that she is at rest with her heavenly Father, for has He not said, “Suffer little children and forbid them not to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven?” The funeral occurred at the house Saturday at 10 o’clock, the services being conducted by Rev. S. K. Fuson.=s
