Patricia A. (Fruits) Ferguson, 78 of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday evening at St. Clare Medical Center. Patricia was born April 27, 1931 in New Richmond, Ind to Charles F. and Mary Smith Fruits. She married Glen E. Ferguson Aug 30, 1947. Mr. Ferguson preceded her in death on March 21 ,2002. Patricia was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church and was a 40 year member of the Alamo Order of Easter n Star.  She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by one son, Michael S (Karen) Ferguson of Fishers; two daughters, Glenda A. (Lawson) Rudd and Candice (Tom) Budd, both of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are grandchildren Christina (Chad) Akins, Christopher (Meghann) Ferguson, Bruce Rudd, Tina Shaw, Garry (Terri) Potts and Amanda (Scott) Pike, as well as 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Ronnie Smith, three brothers, Herbert M. Fruits, Ralph “Dutch Fruits, Charles M. Fruits and four sisters, Thelma Fruits, Grace Haire, Marietta Perry and Ruth Patrick. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Burkhart Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.  Family and friends can pay their respects Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the American Legion Nurses Scholarship Program, 101 Walter Remley Drive, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
