Isaac W. Ferguson died at Jacksonville, Ill., on Thursday of last week and was buried here on Friday afternoon. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. C. W. Postill and interment was made at the south cemetery. Mr. Ferguson was born near here Feb. 29, 1844, was married to Mattie Grenard on Nov. 19, 1868, and leaves a widow, one son and two daughters. He was a member of Co. K, 86th Reg. Ind. Vol., and was a brave soldier from the time of enlistment to the close of the war.
